Björn admitted afterwards that it was for him one of the most stressful experiences.
Although, Borghas proven to be much better at rally driving than his colleague Stig on the tennis court :)

The last SAAB build like a SAAB. Next came the FIATs then the Opels and finally a badge engineered Subaru.
Imagine if SAAB had teamed up with Subaru to begin with. Two rather excentric automakers. Could have ended really bad. And perhaps not?
Erm, no. I’ve had 4d 99GLs, 2d 900c (turned my wife to a SAAB lover), 9000CD 2.0i, 9000CSE 2.3i automatic,
9-5 2.0t sedan manual and currently 9-5 2.0t STW YM2005 automatic (Eibach, Bilstein, Aero brakes, Wössner pistons, do88 pipes&intercooler, TD-04-15T etc. 270hp on 98E5) and standard 9-5 2.0t STW YM2007 automatic for winter-driving. All of them are and were great Cars. SAAB 9000 is an absolute gem, especially in winter conditions. Cuts through snowbanks like hot knife through butter. 9-5 is not that good in harsh conditions of The Arctic Circle where I live, but still the best for long road-trips: You just look at the horizon and SAAB does the rest 🇸🇪💪
What did the second vent go to on the early 900s hood? Seems like it would just leak water onto the brake master in the rain. Never seen one in person
Look at them bumpers, can crash in 5-10 km/h with no need to repair. Car of today….
