This Commemorative Edition of the Saab 900 Turbo is not just another car; it is a piece of automotive history. Distinguished by its black exterior and tan Elmo leather upholstery, this vehicle stands out for its aesthetic appeal and performance capabilities. One of the unique aspects of this special edition is the inclusion of 16″ 9000 Aero-specification wheels, which, along with the lowered sport suspension from the 900 SPG, enhance the driving experience. Additionally, the car is equipped with a range of features designed to elevate comfort and convenience, including heated and power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a sunroof, among others.

A Glimpse into the Auction Offering

Currently listed on the auction site Bring-a-Trailer, this particular 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition, numbered 141 of the limited series, has garnered significant attention. The vehicle’s journey across North America, from Virginia to Ontario and finally to Vermont, speaks volumes about its well-traveled and cherished existence.

Despite its adventures, the car has been meticulously maintained, as evident from the detailed description provided by the seller. From the replacement of the ABS ECU to the servicing of the fuel level sending unit and the inclusion of a set of Commemorative Edition 15″ wheels, no stone has been left unturned in preserving this automotive gem.

The Condition and Mileage Anomalies

With 141k miles on the odometer, this Saab 900 Turbo has been driven and enjoyed, adding to its history and character. However, a recent notation of a mileage inconsistency has been highlighted, which, according to the seller, is likely a clerical error. Potential buyers are reassured by the accident-free Carfax report and the extensive documentation that accompanies the car, including a window sticker, dealer invoice, and recent service records.

Still remember the sound of the closing doors, the SMASH 😃 The trouble parking it in a slot (muscles needed!!) and the feeling driving it like a boat between soft waves – loved it. most of the times… also remember a lot of break downs. air condition didnt work, tempomat sometimes 🙂 quite a personality for a car 😃

  • The only repairs (other than regular maintenance items) I ever had to make on my ’93 900 was to replace an airbag (under warranty) and the automatic antenna.

  • Seen a couple come up,,,,, “oh my,, how much do you think I can get,? Getting tired of this,,,, I love my Saab’s and just sick of punters trying to take advantage. Thanks 👍☺️
