A Saab Event That Refuses to Follow the Usual Formula
Among European Saab gatherings, Saab & Wine has quietly carved out a distinct identity. It does not compete with national conventions, museum anniversaries, or large club meetings. Instead, it focuses on something far more specific: the pleasure of driving Saab cars through carefully chosen landscapes, paired with regional wine culture and small-scale social interaction.
Since its early editions, Saab & Wine has been built around limited numbers, fixed locations, and a program that encourages conversation rather than spectacle. The event has steadily matured, and by 2026 it enters its sixth edition, firmly established as one of the most thoughtfully curated Saab meetings in Central Europe.
This year’s announcement confirms that the formula remains unchanged – and intentionally so.

Looking Back: How Saab & Wine Built Its Reputation
Readers of SaabPlanet will remember earlier coverage of Saab & Wine 2021 and Saab & Wine 2022, when the event demonstrated that Saab enthusiasm does not require crowds, judging panels, or commercial stands.
Previous editions were defined by:
- Small, carefully selected venues, often family-run vineyards
- A mixed Saab lineup, from classic 96 and 900 models to modern 9-3 and 9-5 cars
- Convoy driving without racing, focused on timing and navigation rather than speed
- Evenings built around shared meals and local wine, not formal presentations
The photographs from past years tell the story clearly: Saabs parked on grass instead of asphalt, owners talking rather than polishing, and cars integrated into the landscape instead of staged against it.
That atmosphere is not accidental – it is the result of deliberate limits.

Saab & Wine 2026: Location and Concept
For 2026, Saab & Wine moves once again into southern Poland, this time centered in the Beskid Niski region – an area known for rolling hills, quiet roads, and increasingly respected vineyards.
The event will take place across two wineries:
- Winnica Kmiecia
- Winnica Rymanów
Both are located in a landscape that naturally complements the Saab driving experience: flowing roads, long sightlines, and minimal traffic. These are routes chosen for rhythm rather than drama – exactly the conditions where Saab chassis balance and long-distance ergonomics make sense.
The Landscape Rally: Precision Over Speed
One of the defining elements of Saab & Wine is its landscape rally, which returns unchanged in spirit for 2026.
This is not a competition of horsepower or acceleration. Instead:
- Speed is irrelevant
- Punctual arrival matters
- Navigation and discipline are key
Participants travel in their Saabs through a predefined route across the Beskid Niski region, stopping at designated points. The route has been planned not only for driving quality, but also for shared photo sessions, allowing cars and participants to be documented within the natural environment rather than isolated from it.

This approach reflects a distinctly Saab mindset: control, awareness, and planning over raw pace.

This is an event for:
- Owners who drive their cars
- Enthusiasts who value context over display
- Couples, families, and even pets – animals are welcome, both at the event and the hotel 🐾
It is equally suitable for Saab owners curious about Polish wine culture and wine enthusiasts interested in Saab’s understated engineering logic.

Limited Places – Preparation Matters
Just like previous editions, Saab & Wine 2026 has limited capacity. The structure of the event depends on keeping numbers manageable, both for driving logistics and for the winery experience itself.
Those familiar with earlier Saab & Wine editions will recognize the pattern: places fill steadily rather than suddenly, but once full, registration closes.

A Saab Event That Continues to Make Sense
Saab & Wine has never tried to reinvent Saab culture. It simply places it in a setting where Saab ownership feels coherent: thoughtful routes, meaningful pauses, and shared experiences that extend beyond the cars themselves.
With its sixth edition confirmed, Saab & Wine is no longer an experiment. It is a proven format – one that continues to reward those who plan ahead.
For Saab owners who value driving as much as destination, June 2026 in Beskid Niski is already worth marking on the calendar.
