Saab 96 V4 – The Real Winter Car

Winter and Cold weather presents some of the most challenging driving conditions.  But for a real winter car, such as for example Saab  – winter conditions are not a problem.

For example, we have a good old Saab 96 V4 which is equipped with excellent winter tires – Vredestein 155 R15 Snow Classic from Vredestein – Tyre producer from the Netherlands in mid price segment.

This video footage dating back to 2010, when the UK recorded a strong winter with lots of snow. Grip in the snowy slush, compacted ice and fresh snow were all noticeably improved, and driving, braking and cornering manoeuvres could be approached with much more confidence. The following day the car was taken for a longer drive into the country, documented in the video below:
