Lee Kelso is an experienced television host, spokesman, actor, and presenter, but also big Saab enthusiast and hobbyist mechanic.
He is currently working on an interesting project – converting an 89 Saab 900T convertible from automatic (auto-tragic) to 5-speed and documenting the process in a video series, which can be viewed on his Youtube channel.
Members of the Saab 900 Facebook group are commenting on how helpful and educational the videos are, so he thought we might be interested as well. Of course we are interested, as well as the rest of Saab community.
here’s what Lee says of his project: “I’m a hobbyist mechanic hoping to show Saab owners they can tackle big projects required to keep our weird little cars on the road. All it takes is basic tools, patience, a Bentley manual and support from the Saab online community.“
