On October 7th, 1986 , Saab took 3 unmodified production SAAB 9000 Turbos out onto the Alabama International Motor Speedway in Talladega.
Saab wanted to prove the strength, speed and duratbility of the Saab 9000 by racing 3 9000’s for 20 straight days and nights! (at Talladega Speedway)
Among the Saab drivers for this event (that broke multiple world records) was George Johnson, driver and pilot. This is “The Long Run“
