Just yesterday we were reminded of the beautiful anniversary – The 30th anniversary of the Saab Convertible, and today here’s a very interesting image taken just thirty years ago.

It was the time of creation of the Saab Convertible cars,  later – a real icon of the whole auto industry. This is a unique image (photos published for the first time): a Saab 900 cabrio prototype – most likely the “Nashville” – under construction. At least the doors need some finishing touches…

Maybe you did not know, Nashville was a Saab 900 prototype that was used for the model assessment. Why it was called Nashville, According to information from Valmet’s – nobody seems to remember anymore…

    • “Uncle” Bob Sinclair is in the picture directly behind the driver A-pillar, might even be trying to get that top up.
