Saabs from around the Web

Obey traffic rules and use common sense

The official Warwickshire Police Facebook page for Rugby published today very interesting Saab story. It always drives us crazy to know those young have no regards to other people’s safety, outing their lives at risk. Traffic rules are in place to help protect you and others while operating a vehicle on the road. The story below tells us about irresponsible drivers, unfortunately it is also about younger people.

Yesterday at around 11am officers attempted to speak to the occupants of this Saab 9-3 however the vehicle failed to stop and was pursued. The pursuit went from Rugby onto the A428 and eventually the vehicle was forced off the road whilst on the A45 due to the high risk to the driver and members of the public.

In the early hours of this morning a 17 year old male from Rugby was charged with dangerous driving, driving without a licence, no insurance and possession with intent to supply cannabis. The same male was also charged with driving without insurance and a licence following an incident on the 17th October 2019. The male was remanded in custody and will appear in court today.
