  • I’m warming to it. I wasn’t keen on the design before, but the new pics that show close ups reveal some nice design touches

  • They seem to have thrown alot of money and time at the design, at the end of the day it looks like a saab, shame it wont drive or sound like one :( still, that being said, I would jump at the opportunity to own one, all it needs is a few Saab badges

  • WHat a shame the new NEVS (SAAB) 93 and 93X are not being built in Sweden!! It would provide employment to the people of Trollhaten. CJ Speight Norfolk UK

  • Zover ik heb begrepen, word het casco in Zweden gebouwd, en geassembleerd in China ook voor Europa is het plan dat ze in Trolhattan worden gebouwd!

  • TO Willy Derksen
The brand name SAAB is owned by the company SAAB and they have clearly stated that no one can buy the name from them to produce vehicles again.
So SAAB will unfortunetely never be used on a vehicle again if it is not approved by the company SAAB.

  • TO Jimmie Stigsson
Thanks Jimmie. And what a shame, isn’t it? I hope Saab will reconsider this decision 🙏

It really is… I to hope that Saab one day will open up it’s vehicle production again! That would be the biggest news in automobile history and I really think that they would sell really well! If they begin to produce a modern version of the new 9-5 stationwagon and estate, aswell as the 9-4X, I really think they would do great. But I don’t believe Saab will ever resurect it’s car manufacturing again… 😏

  • Saab AB will not again risk any damage to the strong brand ”SAAB” within their military division. Using the ”Gripen” symbol did Scania stop when NEVS were allowed to use just ”SAAB” on their New 2014 9-3 Aero before entering a financial reconstruction process resulting in NEVS to loose the ”SAAB” brand usage.
Furthermore nobody seems to have the big amount of money needed to risk for production of a New premium EV brand like Emily GT!?

  • No wonder why they don’t make cars anymore design or quality has never been there strong point 😂

  • Trying to electrify an already dated platform was their downfall. Too many resources wasted on something doomed to fail.

  • This was the most promising thing to come from NEVS prior to the Emily EV. What happened to these vehicles? Storage or crushed would be my guess.
