6 years of Saab? Wow, time goes by too quickly nowadays. Anyways, that was an excellent performance. Onward to the future!
Its a shame this beautiful car never received its mid-cycle refresh. I’ve owned one since the launch in 2010 and although its an excellent car in many regards – I can see everyday where they rushed production. Lots of rattles, and the powertrain could have used some more sorting. Victor promised a twin-turbo “Viggen” which would have eliminated all the turbo lag. The transmission – especially between gears 1-3 needed to be reprogrammed.
Still, even today it looks better than anything in GM’s line-up – just imaging what this car could have been with the CTS V-sport engine?
